(NEW YORK) -- Cornerback Sean Smith has agreed to a three-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs Thursday, according to Smith's agent.

A source of ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter report that the deal is worth $18 million, with $11 million guaranteed.

The 6-foot-3 Smith has played four seasons in the NFL, all with the Miami Dolphins. He was a full-time starter for three of his four seasons and has accumulated 210 tackles, five interceptions and 40 passes defended for his career.

The 26-year-old Smith is the second defensive back the Chiefs have signed this offseason. They signed Dunta Robinson on Wednesday.
